Service Description

Your journey will start with completing the Gottman Relationship Checkup. This comprehensive assessment will provide you with invaluable insights into core relationship factors such as friendship, trust, goals, and shared meaning. This assessment will be completed by your and your partner online, and you will receive a link to the assessment after booking your initial appointment and submitting your intake paperwork. Your therapist will review the results from your Gottman Relationship Checkup with you during the intensive 90-minute exploration and feedback session; at the conclusion of the session, you will walk away with a complimentary written analysis of your checkup results. During the appointment, you and your partner will explore issues, gain insight into relationship patterns, identify goals, and create an individualized treatment plan. Couples conclude this initial exploration and feedback session with a better sense of their relational strengths, weaknesses, and needs. Partners will dive deep into the heart of relational issues and set the path for connection, healing, and growth.

Cancelation Policy

Wellstone Center for Love & Relationships requests that you give at least 48 hours of advanced notice to cancel or reschedule therapy appointments. Refunds will not be available for sessions cancelled with less than 48 hour advanced notice. For marathon therapy, a 7-day advance notice is required prior to the initial marathon session; partial refunds are not available for marathon therapy programs. A 3.9% processing fee will apply to all refunded services, including marathon therapy bookings. All fees are due at the time of booking. Wellstone Center for Love & Relationships exclusively offers therapy services to residents of Connecticut and Vermont; by booking a therapy session, you confirm that you will be located in one of these two states at the time of your appointment.
